    Terms of Service

    These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by RangeVault ("we", "us", or "our"), a corporation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Our services include the website at rangevault.io, the web application at app.rangevault.io, and physical products sold through our online store (collectively, the "Services").

    By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

    1. Eligibility

    You must be at least 16 years of age to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

    2. Accounts

    To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that may harm our Services or other users.

    3. Subscription Plans

    The App offers multiple subscription tiers with different features and data retention limits. Current plans, pricing, and included features are described on our pricing page.

    3.1 Billing

    Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method. Fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period.

    3.2 Cancellation

    You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the Free tier. Data beyond the Free tier's retention limit may no longer be accessible.

    3.3 Refunds

    Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at support@rangevault.io.

    4. Physical Products

    4.1 Orders

    When you place an order for physical products through our store, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including product availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

    4.2 Pricing

    All prices are listed in the currency displayed at the time of purchase. Prices are subject to change without notice. Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

    4.3 Shipping

    We ship to addresses within Canada and the United States. Shipping times and costs vary by destination and will be displayed at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs processing.

    4.4 Returns and Refunds

    We accept returns of unused, unopened physical products within 30 days of delivery. To initiate a return, contact us at support@rangevault.io. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product was defective or we made an error. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the returned item.

    5. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
    • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
    • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
    • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Services without permission
    • Abuse rate limits or circumvent access controls
    • Impersonate another person or entity
    • Use the Services to harass, threaten, or harm others

    6. Intellectual Property

    All content, features, and functionality of the Services — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the RangeVault name and logo — are owned by RangeVault and protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

    You retain ownership of the data you input into the App (scores, patterns, equipment configurations). By using the Services, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.

    7. Disclaimer of Warranties

    The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

    We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. The pattern analysis features provide estimates and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for equipment decisions.

    8. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RangeVault and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

    • Your use of or inability to use the Services
    • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
    • Any third-party conduct on the Services
    • Any other matter relating to the Services

    Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

    9. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RangeVault from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services.

    10. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

    11. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

    12. Severability

    If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
